Kyla is Lecturer in Radio and Communication and currently teaches into the course Production Project I.
In addition to teaching and research, Kyla works part time as an independent and in-house contract supervising producer, program producer, online developer and audio engineer for ABC Radio National and ABC Pool.
Prior to becoming a staff member in March 2008, Kyla worked for ten years as a professional documentary maker and journalist across print, screen and audio media.
Kyla has a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne University and is currently enrolled in a Masters Program at RMIT University.
